This post will be short and sweet. If you haven't heard the name Tim Tebow, then you're probably living under a rock. Tim Tebow has become a media sensation because he is a good football player, fresh out of college, and now in the spotlight as a Christian pro football playing phenomenon. I know that some in the media and some non-Christians are waiting for him to fail at being a "Christian". Here's the news flash...Christians are not perfect people contrary to popular belief. He will inevitably be criticized for something he does that's not "Christian like". Unfortunately, Christians seem to be held to a higher standard than normal human beings in this day and age, expected to act or be a certain way. Christians strive to do good in a challenging world. Trying to be like Jesus who died for us is difficult because of sinful human nature. We do our best to show you that God has a plan for your life, and you can have a better, eternal life by knowing the Lord. It's not about being perfect. The only perfect, sin-free person I know died on the cross for you and me. Please respect that Tim Tebow is trying to set a good example for people to follow and make the world a better place. Criticism has no place for someone trying to do good even if they do fail from time to time. After all, you're not perfect are you? Thanks for taking the time to read my two cents and please post your thoughts below.
